Fly into the Baltra airport and transfer to the boat. We'll have a boat and dive orientation and then our first dive at Punta Carrion on the Itabaca Channel.

We'll get 2 morning dives in at Punta Carrion (Santa Cruz Island) or Bartolome Punta before an afternoon hike to Bartolome Summit and a panga ride at Pinacle Rock.

Cousins Rock & land tour
Our last dive will be at Cousins Rock. Then we'll head to Itabaca Channel or Puerto Ayora. After lunch we'll go ashore for a private bus tour to see the beautiful Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. This will include a scenic view over Santa Cruz and a Tortoise Reserve to see giant tortoises. After the hike, you can walk through town, shop and visit the tortoise-breeding center Fausto Llerena at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Then we'll have dinner ashore at a local restaurant. We have to be back on board by 10 pm when we depart from Puerto Ayora town to Baltra.

Board the Galapagos Aggressor III

Excellent trip executed by Blue Planet! For my new Junior Open Water Diver, the Blue Heron Bridge was the perfect place to take him with so much life the hides beneath it, the boat dives were amazing too. My little guy is looking forward to booking another dive trip already. I appreciate how organized everything is and how smooth Heather and Jonas makes dive trips run.

I had a great time on this trip! This was a short and fun getaway packed with diving! We had night and morning dives at Blue Heron Bridge plus some boat dives to see the Goliath Groupers. The sea life on the bridge was amazing! The accommodations were great and group dinners were fun. Thank you for a trip well planned and executed! Make sure to check out the turtle 🐢 center on your non- dive day before you head out.

Fantastic trip - with an excellent variety of diving options/experiences. Blue Planet did excellent research to find a very professional dive operation, great accommodation and logistics that meant everything was only a very short ride away. Also always enjoyable to dive with a good group of people with common interests, who are likely to remain friends after the trip.

This was a once in a lifetime trip and the underwater world showed up! We had lots of time with minke whales and had a researcher with us… fantastic! The food was great, the crew always put safety first, and the Blue Planet family was amazing. Because we went in Australia’s winter, bringing medicine for sea sickness was essential.
